Jackye has been part of the EFI family for four years now. She is from Atlanta and she has been teaching for 24 years.

Jackye believes it is important to look at the whole person including who they are as people, their lives outside of school, and personal goals among other important characteristics in a student since these all affect and contribute to their success as language students.

She and her husband are involved in a mentoring program for low-income, at risk elementary school children. They have a new grandbaby so most of their free time right now goes to her.

Jackye holds a Master’s in Applied Linguistics from Georgia state university.
