Lisa grew up in Los Angeles, CA and has been teaching for over 20 years IEP programs in universities, community colleges, privately owned schools, and non-profit organizations in the U.S. and Mexico.
She is passionate about working with international students and enjoys seeing the confidence that grows as students become more able to communicate. Lisa loves listening to music, traveling, and lately she has been interested in learning more about alternative medicine.
When Lisa’s not working, she’s often busy with household chores but the focus of her free time is being with family and friends (She volunteers every other Sunday at Good Mews Cat Shelter with her family). She also enjoys running and walking, going to concerts and movies, and reading.
Lisa holds a Bachelor’s in English from Colorado College and a Master’s in Education from Northern Illinois University.
